The Cobra Maneuver

I have seen many threads where people talk about this move, saying its either impossible or very hard, but Ive never seen a vid of it being preformed or attempted in bf2. (Im really not bothered to try at the moment)





Can anybody make a vid of it being preformed or tried, metallicaguitarist mabye? Im just bored and interested, might try it out later

Cant be done in BF2. You can do a lot, but Cobra maneuver specifically requires you to pull up your nose to 90 degrees, push it back down and that without loss or gain of (much) altitude.

BF2 "world" doesnt allow that.

I can do something similar to it but it's upside down, and it doesn't stay at the same height exactly.

It's still pretty cool and it looks like the cobra.

well at high altitude you can do anything in the F35 lol, never seen anyone do it but there probably is a way

+1 the physics of BF2 aircraft aren't realistic enough to perform this maneuver.

The cobra is a charecteristic of the Su-27 and considering the Su-27 isn't in BF2, well you do the math. The MiG-29M OVT can do a similar move called the double tumble.

Do you believe or do you know? Because I know it isnt. The thrust vectoring engines dont mean anything in terms of BF2 physics. They may equally be aswell just an animation and the job of greater pitch factor can be aquired by higher maximum elevator angle.

Are you guys arguing about the phisics or bf2? that is kinda sad its a game probly can be done but i sure as hell cant do it.

You can do something that is pretty much the same thing, but it's hard to explain how it's different.. I'll record it later right now i'm in BF2C.

Basically you have to use the ceiling of the map to help you.

Haha, I've actually tried that move once, but it didn't work out that well. It's very hard to do.
