Unlocking the L96

ALright so I've got my 3rd upgrade now and 1000 from my next one, but it's bugging me....when can I start upgrading my first set to the next teir weps (i.e. L96)??

you must have special forces or someone must login and play on your account with special forces on a sf map

Hmm I'm starting to wounder if anyone ever checks the fourms there is atleast one thread a day that if you put the right words in on the search thing they would find it.

that was awsome, i was only 50 points away from another unlock aswell so i got 5 unlocks when i did it

lol, it really is. i got 3-4 unlocks at the same time with it, so getting all those drumrolls was one of the most exciting things that ive experienced

someone told me i get two unlocks for getting promoted- (im getting promoted to 1st Sgt.) -is that true? i forgot how many i unlocked last promotion

Ok....last time.

If you have normal BF2 and thats it you will get 1st tier unlocks only and 1 unlock per rank starting from your 2nd rank upwards.

If you have spec forces you will get 1st and 2nd tier unlocks (you have to unlock 1st tier say for sniper before you can get the 2nd tier sniper etc etc) and instead of 1 unlock per rank after your 2nd rank you will get 2.

If you don't have spec forces but you have a friend who has, log into their machine or give them your account details and let them do it, play onee round on their machine in spec forces so it registers on your account stats. Log off and when you log back into your own machine you will have the option to open 2nd tier unlocks. i.e. you have had 3 normal BF2 unlocks so far, you will automatically get another 3 when you log in, from then on you will have 2 per rank.

If you dont have SF and you must get someone to login to your account on SF server and play a round, make sure its someone you trust:hmm:
