Need help with PRMM v0.4

First off, I would like to make it clear that I am a computer illiterate. Please keep this in mind if it is my mistake in not being able to join an internet server or run any other maps that the stock maps in PRMM.

I joined the only server that appeared to be running v0.4 and half way through the loading sequence, a notification window came up said something about a driver. Is my graphics card insufficient or do I just need a better driver?

Okay first what vid card do you have
Second have you updated your drivers and do you have the latest BF2 patch.

I have the nVidia GeForce 6600 with 256mb memory. I do have the newest patch for BF2 and it has only made things worse. I cannot log onto my online account, but I can use my web browser (obviously).

I don't know about which drivers I am using, and I don't know what my RAM is. My settings are on low.

The only A.A.S map I can run (that I know of, I haven't tried any of the other AAS maps since I downloaded the 1.41 patch) is Al Basrah. In extraction mode I can run any map so long as it is under 64 players, with the exception of Al Basrah.

When I downloaded the 1.40 patch the same problem with the online accounts occured, but eventually stopped, so I have a feeling that my connection problem will sort itself out.

I have consulted the player guide but it did not have the answers to my questions.

weird problem - just a note that you should put terrain on medium just in case that is causing the problem

Was it a night map?

(btw... all populated servers run 0.4 now...)
