err depends of your connection, took me an hour but some people need maybe 10-15 mins coz they have faster connections

No need to download 1.4. All you need to download is 1.41 and that took me 20 mins tops at filefront

Because you're in Australia you will either be on 256K, 512K, 1.5Mbit, 8Mbit or 24Mbit.

On 256K it will take you about 6 hours.
On 512K it will take you about 3 hours.
On 1.5Mbit it will take you about 55 Minutes
On 8Mbit (Syncing at 8Mbit) it will take you about 11 Minutes
On 24Mbit (Syncing at 24Mbit) it will take you about 4 minutes.
