video all high 1680x1050, sound high (ultra more fps drop)

In large actions (64p) i get frame rate drops to 25, average 40-60 fps

In large actions (64p) i get frame rate drops to 15 (titan), average 40-50 fps


I had now
C2D6300@2800, 2GB 800, x1900xt xfi, 320GB SATAII

video all high 1680x1050, sound ultra!

I was sure that bf2 engine does not use second core but... have look at screen of cpu usage

Any comments welcome.

Too bad for AMD X2 users like me, we get a boatload of problems with BF2 and dual cores.

Too bad for AMD X2 users like me, we get a boatload of problems with BF2 and dual cores.

What issues do you get?? I have not had any issues. I get 100fps down to 90fps no cpu related issues at all. I have everything on high 1600 x 1200 with sound at ultra high.

I also dont have any issues at all, in fact ill happily say ill never go sinlge core again, dual core are top banana in my book.

Yes, but no where near as much as a better graphics card.

the main bf2 thread might only sit on one core but that doesnt stop all the other bits and pieces being offloaded to the second core instead of all crowding on the same one.

I don't know what you are talkng about. My x2 rocks for BF2. I run all high, and very little problems. I am running a cheaper 256MB graphics card, so it is better with 2GB of RAM, but it runs OK with 1GB too.

Are you running the Athlon X2 Optimizer Patch?

It will help.

I have 40+ processors running all the time there system processes you can do much about that
