Like all newbie pilots, I loved the J-10, it was fast, strong and I seldom died. Soon it got to the point where 50-0 was a mere walk in the park, and it wasn't so much fun anymore. I thought i'd try flying the F35 some, it was slow and junky and I'd always die to the J-10's. But now... I baserape the J-10 spawn all round long! How about you!

I used to be a J10 junkie, now its the opposite. I can't even go back to the j10 simply because it feels so sluggish (not turning, but reaction time and the like). Hell, once in awhile when I go back and fly the J10, I end up with rounds like 90:2.Comment

I used to be the guy who flew all of the jets, I always said to myself that F35B isnt that bad, and that all jets have their strenghts and weaknesses, and you just need to find out.
Then patch 1.2 came along. Everything changed... Haha.
Although I flew all jets, I loved the Hornet and F35B the most. So Im not really a J10 to F35B convert. Im just a F35B fanboi.Comment

If they are dumb enough to stand where the J-10 spawns for an entire round, they deserver it...was playing with Zekers once, I was PLA, and at least 10 people would wait at the spawn point, and he would fly over, strafe and drop bombs, getting 6-7 kills each time, and they continued to do it, all while we lost first our outermost bases, then the closer ones, then finally, when the US approached the airfield, these valiant players...waited for the F 18 I guess....Did not even try to defend, just wanted the plane.Comment

I like to fly the F35B for the challenge. I am far from an ace, but like most, I can own easily in the J-10. In the F-35B, I do very well against most, and still manage an occasional flurry of kills against the J-10's.
I also find that on the regular servers that I play, when a half-decent pilot grabs a J-10 and starts racking up uninterupted kills, everyone drops the J35B like a hot potato and goes to ground. That leaves the sky wide open for aerial rape.
Even if you are frequently getting shot down in the F-35B, you are still helping your team by tying up the J-10's.
And when server rules allow, I do love to steal an enemy's J-10 both for the a-a advantage, to deprive them of that unit, and to watch them curse my name.
