L96A1 takes away more health than the M95, and I think it is more accurate. I only use M95 on Dragon Valley when I can camp the chopper repair pads and snipe out the pilots.

Wrong! They both do the same damage. There are only 3 diffrences: The look, the sound and more importantly the sights!

Wrong! The L96A1 is 5% more powerful than the m95, but the m95 can go through bullet proof glass.

Please people, do you research before posting.

The L96A1 will bring a full-health UNARMORED enemy (meaning Medic, spec ops, engineer, other sniper) down to TWO bars of health when they get hit. An armored enemy (Assault, Support, Anti-tank) will lose about 65% of their health. It still takes two shots to kill a full health guy either way.

The M95 ignores body armor. It takes both unarmored and armored enemies down to two bars of health, and it can pierce cockpit glass. The advantage of its armor-piercing ability is that, say that PKM whore on the other street just fell from some flight of stairs. If he took more than 2 bars of damage falling (which happens quite often), you can kill him in one hit. That can't happen with the L96 if they only took two bars of damage.

The L96's advantage is that it's quiet and has a thinner crosshair, and is more accurate. Many people like the M95 because of its damage capabilities, despite its huge fat crosshair.
