This is mostly for maps like wake island where both jets are fighters.

or on maps where usmc has 2 f-35bs

Anyway start a squad and get in a fighter and have another squadmate in a fighter.

then double team enemy fighters.

a tactic that works is one player gets the fighter on his tail and dodges while the other comes up with missles or guns
(guns are the best since missles tend to bounce off the j-10..lol)

this is an entremely effective way to control the skies. if you have more people in your squad tell them to attack a flag and to spot any vehicles they cant deal with on their own.
Also tell them that if they need an airstrike on ANYTHING they have your full support.

Ive had a squadmate in the fighter on daquing i told him to bomb crap that i spotted or sometimes just bomb a flag before i moved in.
You still have to deal with infantry on your own but its nice to not have to have an anti tank in your squad since you can just spot it and tell him where to fly.

if you have problems getting off the carrier on wake due to J-10 whores then get in your f-35b and get to and isolated section of the map where the J-10s wouldnt go.
then when your squadmate gets in his..let the teamwork begin(lol that rhymed)

It is simple teamwork but yet the simplest may not be the most obvious to a lot of people.

ANYWAYS, yes simple teamwork does SEEM obvious but i have only seen jet teamwork once or twice in all my rounds of bf2

Yeah, repeating what the other guy said, seeing teamwork in the sky is insanely rare, nobody wants to work together in the air.

People making fun of him probably just play IO, or just use the J10, and don't have to worry about teamwork.

Yeah, like the time metallica and I took on a J10 who was just doing circles.

Right after metallica broke off, I came in from a different angle and amazingly both missiles hit.

I was just on Moongamers Oman and the MIG pilots was challenging. Only got shot down once from the MIG because he let all missiles go and they caught up to me at 900! Other than that he would stay right on my *** until he would make a wrong move at 900 lol

Never got to shoot him down because I was kicked.
