Thank God we have mods like Project Reality where people know each other, talk to each other and have fun together. There's no need to teabag, or "disrespect" others, even though it happens sometimes. But same guys may be joining your squad next round. They may have some cool maneuvers and tricks and they completely outsmart your team, but don't teabag. And PR is usually SL vs. SL, not person against other.

And admin has all power on his server, no matter what you say about ROE, which is a stupid joke to keep casual noobs happy so they can complain and feel better after getting owned or whatever. If he does something you don't like you better get used to it, it's not your server remember.
You are not getting my point. I seldom play by myself, most of the time I have friend playing with me and we keep communicating with Teamspeak or some other way. We always try to get on the same side but when we are not, it's perfectly okay for us to start mind game against each other. As I said I don't teabag, but when I can tease without a risk of doing some stupid movement and getting killed for that I tease and so does all others. After some nice headshot I could say "Thank you, Please come again" or the one mentioned before "Suck my balls Mr. Garrison" that are totally comparable ways of taunting than doing that notorious teabagging. I don't see anything wrong in it. So many times they are real people for me also. But I don't taunt / disrespect / dishonour the person, a friend of mine. I do taunt / disrespect /dishonour his player figure who is trying to "kill" / beat / me. Got it?

I don't mind if I know the fellow or not, if he is opponent I do it. On next round if he is on my side, he is my best buddy who I try to help and support as I can. It's not personal it's a game where we are competing in multiple levels. Reflexes, intelligence, coordination, organisation, leadership and so but also it is psychological endurance and pressure tolerating levels. Just like in sports. I consider myself being pretty calm human in real life, but when I participate on some contest, I always enjoy challenging people in all the levels. I'm not the best there is, I got tempered and make mistakes because of it, but I can understand that when I make a mistake because of it, I have played poorly on one level of the contest.

As for the server owners or admins right to decide how to behave. Yeah they have that right, but isn't that bad sportsmanship to make an act where opponent has no possible method to respond. It's okay to kick for a good reason but kicking a better player who can use mind tricks is just stupid. Teamkilling and such are legitimate reasons, teabagging is not.

Ask yourself, would you like to be cokkslapped in your face, even though the guy doing so thinks its just pure fun?
although i can see where you are comming from, and agree with most of your post I don't think you can compare it to a real life **** slap lol.

I think how disrespectful "Teabagging" is in game depends entirely upon the people concerned and the context in which it's used.

If it's some 13 year old antisocial geek kid trying to make up for his sad little life by "p\v/N@ge !111!!111" (or whatever the hell it is this week) other gamers., then yea I can see where Redfield is getting his frustration from. I agree entirely in this instance.

If teabagging is meant in a humerous way, as sometimes it can be, even between 2 strangers in game I think it's fine. i have had many a battle in game between a "nemesis", and providing both players see it as a mild and friendly skirmish, then yea sometimes you can have a laugh and wind your opponant up a little by bagging him.

Ultimately though you have to respect the fact that some servers are quite within their right to request players not perform this act as it can and often is intended to be offensive and you should accept the concequinces if you do it and upset other gamers, or admins in this instance.

        Re: Kicked for teabagging

I have no problems with 2 players having a laugh at teabagging, IF they know that they are doing this as a joke and wont "hurt each others feelings", as silly as this may not sound.

But in most cases, its done as a deliberate act to insult your opponent. "Fvck off n00b!" is exactly the same sh!t. And while people shouldnt be that stupid to feel hurt over the net, people shouldnt really insult over the net either. Its a god damn computer game played for fun.

I don't recall having been t-bagged nor having done it to anyone else. However this reminded me of another thing.
Say your squad is about to cap a flag, you kill someone near the flag and there is a chance of him spawning before the flag is down its a good idea to go prone on his face since that wat you block his view and when he spawns he does not know exactly where the enemy is.

Well if u are sat on his corpse blocking his view, then surely he will know where u are,..... exactly where he died.

Again I agree with you and arseholes who do this are out of order, but to behonest you got to get a sense of perspective. Does it really "hurt your feelings" when some one tebags you? You have got to realise this isnt a perfect world and not everyone who plays in the net is a mature and sporting young man/woman and you WILL get these idiots. You got to grow up and realise nothing is fair or perfect in this world therefore is it worth being so hyper sensitive about this?

As I already said I actually find it funny. Something about the simple mind of the idiot doing the teabagging really amuses me. Their lack of social skills and genuine belief that what they are doing is gonna piss me off and shows off their "sk1llz" and impress people, when realyl it just makes people think "what a ****" , really and genuinely makes me giggle. They are usually just young, naive, foolish and truly believe they are gods when online, and everyone around them in games cannot equal them.

I imagine some spolied, squeaky voiced, 12 year old, fat american kid, (probably getting yelled at by his mother to get off the computer as its getting near bed time), shouting out "yea take that n00bi" , "woo , eat it noobie" , "you suck," etc etc.

Maybe that's just me though, I just tend to laugh along with the joke, because I know really the joke is on them. Ultimately they will grow up see the world (outside of gaming), become synical and realise what a tit they have been in their younger days and probably be ont he recieving end of some other kid doing the same to them one day.

At the end of the day I can turn the game off and "own" in real life with friends and family, i can even go "pwn" my wife in the bedroom while they teabag some noobie on BF2 servers

I really don't see what the fuss is about. Ok so he teabagged the admin. Sometimes the admin deserve it, mainly the stuck up ones who cant take a joke. If this is the case i give them a little dip
But yeah i do find teabagging stupid if you do it to every single kill, i mean come on! The servers i play in, if i stopped to teabag a kill, i think id find myself being teabagged a few seconds later.

You know what's even more rewarding then teabagging someone?

Watching someone begin to teabag you and then see them get killed for being stupid.

                  Teabagging is funny.

Seeing people getting so pissed about it is even funnier.

I welcome this new phenomenon into the world of online gaming.

I teabagged a guy last night, He had been talking complete smack to me every time I killed him with the DAO-12, it was an IO map. Anyway, this guy would swear constantly, calling me stupid this, and stupid that, why the bleep are you playing AT on IO anyway? So I said so I can own nade-spammers like you. That is all this foolio was doing, was throwing nades. So I would rush him, and get him with the DAO. Finally, after about the sixth time, He launched into his swearing tirade against AT on IO, so I started to teabag him, then I got done humping his face, and ran straight into about 30 claymores at once, and was teabagged by the snipers that had them out. That is an undeserved teabag, snipers should never teabag if there claymores made the kill....if I was an admin I would kick a sniper teabagging me for a claymore kill, but no other teabags :)

Hahah that is absolutely hilarious. I remember I pulled off 2 teabags on some guy and finally he got me later in the round and came over to teabag and he got like knifed or something. I gave mad props to one of my teammates for that lol.

Haha, yeah... I've stabbed a few teabagers myself. You can always tell who's a teabagger n00b or pro. The pro checks the area and usually pivots around the corpse with his gun up. The n00b just stares at the corpse's face and unloads his whole clip.

Sounds like a certain server admin needs to move off of his mom's couch and find some reasons in life to not wig over small things like being pixel teabagged in a game.

                                Re: Kicked for teabagging

Taunting has tactical value, I don't "tea bag" in game, or insult, but I do taunt when I am defending a flag sometimes

Once I was Mec commander in Leviatian, I was @ about 10/10 kills/deaths, we had lost about 3, or 4 rounds in a row

It sucks because Mec doesn't get an AT chopper

I made my way to the armory, & waited for the M1 to spawn, when it did I took it, & capped the flag

The Apache came back to repair, & I came out of the building, & shot it down

Then I kept UAV over my postion the rest of the round, & killed 29 guys to 1, they came w/ tanks, AT, spec-op, Hummers w/ TOW, AA vehicle, I mean they threw EVERYTHING @ me except the kitchen sink, until they got me w/ arty

They shot my tank out from under me 4 times, & I got out w/ my RPK-74, & made kills everytime

By the time they killed me the damage was done

The entire time they could not sneak up on me, & I taunted them to keep them coming to me, instead of just holding all the other flags, killing who they could, & winning the round

                                "The armory is MINE"
                                "My armory"
"All your base belong to us"

I "pissed them off" sooooo bad that they just kept coming, we over came a 80 ticket deficet, & won

That is 1 of my tactics I have used to amass my 2800+ defended flags

1 guy said "you ain't **** serial", I said "lol"

PROFESSIONAL Athletes use mind games, it is all part of serious competition

Only after the round was over did I share that I was (@ the time) the #42 ranked player in armor in all BF2 (I have since slipped back to #61)

They weren't even mad, they started sharing their ranking in different weapons gg

Americans are typically "fire breathing beasts" on the playing field, but can be the best of friends afterwards, & toast to the high level of competition

It isn't fun if it doen't make your blood boil just a little

Like I said, It isn't personal, just a good tactic, unless it is specifically not allowed

in my most humble of opinions

                                Lieutenant General |SI|SERIALBUTCHER
