Re-Installing

Hi, I have had to re-install windows & bf2 on my pc, do I have to install each patch eg 1.2, 1.3,1.4, 1.41 in order or can i just install 1.41?

I have installed the game and then 1.41 but its very jumpy on line. My graphics caed (256mb) is fine and my connection (5meg) is fine.

Any help would be greatly appriciated as this game and my happy fags are the only stress relief i get.

Well, if you have SF, EF or AF, you'll update to whatever version they are when you install them. Just install the 1.41 patch last.

If you don't have any of those Expansion/Booster packs, then simply install BF2 and then apply the 1.41 patch.

You DO NOT need to install each patch in order since 1.41 is a FULL patch and contains everything.

Wrong. When you install SF on a clean BF2 1.0 install, in installs the 1.1 (I believe is the correct one) patch. Then you need to install 1.41, then install EF and AF (if you have them) and run 1.41 again to patch both of them.
