shaders reoptimizing

i did not change any video settings or change drivers but whenever i play bf2, i get that " optimizing shaders" What the hell is going on? Is this a new problem caused by 1.41? I never had this issue before

everytime you re-patch it makes you optimize again.

No it does it whenever i join a game. Bf2142 does not behave badly like this. Just bf2 is acting retarded.

Do you exit out after it shows up or do you wait it out?

I'd suggest deleting the folders in your bf2/cache folder and let it fully reoptimize.

i just exit and delete the crap in the folder. I think something is wrong with my installation

You're not letting it finish it's thing. Start out fresh and delete the files within the cache and let it finish when it start the optimization portion of loading...DON'T EXIT OUT.

mine will do the same ting when i gain a new rank but not everytime
