first get the assault kit.. then go ontop of the smaller building next to the hotel (you should be able to climb it with a ladder in the alley, then grab your hook and go to the highest piont of that building to the right if ur facing the hotel.. from there trow ur hook ontop of the hotel but make sure the ''CLing'' sound is masced with an explosion.... en from there.... shoot the snipers that come up, and steal their kits by pressing ''G'' while standing on their corpses!!!:ar15: :banana:

The specific building to start on is the one between Hotel and Waterfront. From the alley side, toss your hook to the top of this one. Climb up.

Once up there, toss your hook to the building due north (towards Spetznaz home base). This building is touching the one you are on so you will have no issues with the climb.

Once up, toss your hook due east to the tallest point of the connected building there that is situated exactly due north (towards Spetznaz home base) of the hotel.

Now there is space to jump. Get fairly close to the edge of this building facing the hotel. Aim your reticle for your grappel so that the horizontal line is riding the edge of the hotel. Throw it. It should perfectly hit and leave your rope dangling down the side of the hotel. Back up from the ledge. Take a sprinting run at the ledge and jump. When you think you are close to your rope, hit the grab key. You should now be dangling against the side of the hotel. Climb up.

If done properly, you should be able to get up from the alley to the hotel in about 40 or so seconds, coming up to the top of the hotel behind a portrusion that will block your climbing up to the roof from any snipers that are up there. The snipers will generally claymore the ladder but not this area. Use this opportunity to show them the point of their error with "Mr. Sticky".

Yup, Four minimum. It also brings you up to a blind spot so it's a good sniper hunt if the sniper doesn't have UAV running above him.

The biggest problem with the hook is the scrapping noise as it graps on the surface, if the people in that area don't have music on and have half a brain will be waiting for you.
