BF2 disk read error

im trying to install BF2 i have 3 disks and the serial #, i put disk 1 in and it runs until it asks for disk 2, i put disk 2 in and it doesnt know that its disk 2, and it wont go past this part how can i install this, it worked before on my desktop, im trying to put it on my laptop and its not working

my latop specs are:
AMD Turion 64 x2 1.8ghz
2gb ram
nvidia geforce go 7200 256mb ram

any ideas??

Yea, i think i got 2 copys of disc 1 but one is named disc 2 lol, i can start the install using disk 1 or 2 i dont know if thats supposed to happen, i do know that i installed BF2 with these discs before, i dont remember if i had this problem last time. i hate it that it wont work, im itching to play and i can't lol

i dont know what was wrong, all i did was restart my computer and tryied installing again and it worked fine.
