In case it helps, I use a Gainward Bliss 7800GS+ 512Mb AGP card on an MSI K8T Neo2 mobo with 2Gb Ram and AMD 4000 A64 - very good performing card (1280x1024, everything high). Only problem is I think you are probably Stateside and I think that card was only supplied for European customers.

The 7800GS is the best AGP card out now.

Of course it is (as I have this, myself). But you aren't going to find one under $200.

Mine was $299 @ TigerDirect.

i am able to get the gainward here in Australia best overclocker card avaliable but it does come with a big price

there is absolutely no performance advantage between AGP and PCIE at this point..

well i got a ATI radeon 9550 AGP 256mb from best buy for only a hundred bucks and its great but i need to upgrade my processor and my memory. right now its at intel p4 1.8ghz with 512mb ram so the loading process takes a while but then into the game at the beginning it will lag a little bit then its smooth after that i would recommend it if your looking for a cheap but awesome graphic card

i used to have the 9550 agp 256mb, not that great of a card but yeahits a ok cheep option
