You gotta admit, hes got a point. You need to cross the line between a "gentleman" and a "jerk" to be able to do that for 8 minutes.

I personally believe is a viable method, IF youre there to cap the flag at minimum cost. But since you put "capitalize" into the sentence, its obviously done for the stats, which doesnt really make you look respectful.

Right on. Nothing in vanilla BF2 makes me dork out anymore; it's too arcadey for me to impress myself. I can just drive into a pile of people, get out, and shoot them all without feeling particularly cool about it because it's relatively simple. A medpack and a medic buddy can keep me basically invincible.

Project Reality, on the other hand, keeps me on my toes with its tracers, accurate guns and frightening bullet noises. Seriously. You die so fast that you actually pay attention to your cover and position, as opposed to regular BF2 which is more akin to Quake than a realism simulator. Getting behind enemy lines in PR gives me a sort of satisfaction I rarely see these days in public server play.

This all applies to public play, really. Competition makes vanilla more than satisfying enough to play for me.

i dorked out the other day.. This j10 was whoring our cobra on dalian and i got really tired of it so we started saying forget going for armor and choppers and hung out in the water and dog fighted with a j10 (yeah sounds stupid) but it paid off 2 tv missiles left and i fire one i see the j10 start to turn so i lead the tv missile ahead of him and then hooked it just a bit and BOOM took his *** out. J10 pilot says ive seen it happen 3 times but never had it done to me nice shot that was beautiful. Well i went ape**** over here lol laughing hysterically because i usually have absolutely no luck at hitting them whorish planes.

I shot down a j-10 in an f-35b before its only happend like 4 times.

ive taken quite a few jets out with the regular pilots missles.....sometimes on OMAN there is nothing else left to attack....like when we have all the bases....and noone uses their heli...fun....

i think prm means project reality mod.

i love being a squad leader and having a full 6 man squad spawn on me, i take them sumwhere they bail and take the flag while i hover if they get killed they just respawn and bail again then i land pick them up and grab another flag, i usually spawn as ammo guy or medic to get some points.

project reality is a kick *** mod.....

ill check that mod out right now, are there alot of ppl playing it?

I had awesome BF moment just this weekend. I usually don't command, since it's usually boring because none does as you tell them to. Anyways, i decided i'd give it a shot. For my amazement, people actually did EXACTLY as they were told to, on regural basis asking for more orders. I kept feeding them with information and they were happy. I was so thrilled about this that i commanded next 6 rounds in a roll. (inf only, none usually wants to command). We ended up beating up the opponent every single round with EASE! It was just awesome :)

Oh, the map was Jalalahoola on VTA server, gotta give them the credit for making this possible. :)

i had a nice moment last night . i was commanding on mashtuur , i was at the flag next to the hotel (cant remember the name) and the opponent team had no flags left . a squad of 4 or 5 people assaulted the flag where i was at . I started throwing nades and killed one of them . With no nades left , i decided to attempt to kill them with my m16 , i walked up on them and they didnt notice me so i started dumping . Killed all 4 of them within a few seconds and the game was over . I thought it was a nice moment :p .
