i want to Mod some of my stuff on BF2. so, i extracted the Object_client zip., and tried to veiw the pics. But, it cant open them. i have Ifran, and that has never opend a single thing. do i need photoshop? or anything else?

Did you remember to copy the object_client folder to your desktop? Its just a safety measure. You need photoshop and an Nvidia plugin to alter or mod the different skins in the object_client folder. Only photoshop can view and change .dds files. Search in google or go to Nvidia's website to find the plugin. -

About the pictures, you will need Photoshop and the DDS plugin to view .dds files. Some of the images may have the .png format, but they are also DDS files in a few cases.Comment

Photoshop isn't really required. You could use a cheaper (no offence to any users) editor called Paint Shop Pro (by Jasc Software Inc). It's not as high-end as photoshop, and can't really do as much, but it does the job for basic skinning, and takes almost all Photoshop plugins. It's quite an a**load cheaper, but you are, obviously, missing some special features that photoshop has.Comment
