AT blunt fire (non guided shot) tip.

This might be very old news, but sometimes the obvious escapes us.

When you want to "pop and shoot" the AT missile without guiding it, and relying on the arc and the drop, simply fire and switch to another weapon. I suggest you switch to a handgun since its the closest key you can comfortably reach.

Contrary to popular belief, unzoomed mode still guides the missile.

Yeah I was going to say why don’t you just fire the missile no scope and guide it that way... why bother switching guns.... the only thing I can see useful out of this technique of switching guns is if you are pined behind a building and you need to fire off a missile at a tank. So, you could pop it off really quick, switch guns, and it will be on its way in a straight line, giving you time to run away.

Switching to another weapon or losing sight of the missile turns it into unguided.

Missile turns unguided when its "out of fuel". If you switch to unzoomed mode and its still smoking, it will be guided.

Ive found unguided missile use to be excellent when defending flags.

Does the missile ever run out of fuel? I've got confirmed hits up to 500 meters.

Yes, it will still glide to it's destination with no force behind it.

It's like riding a bike, you pedal really hard and fast, then stop and just coast for a few hundred feet.

Yep, handy when you're ducking and diving. Though I usually get my DAO-12/P90 out at close quarters, noob tubing people at close range is always hilarious.

I have made a kill from the power station ridge to the US-side bridge on Kubra with an AT rocket.

Those buggers have amazing range. Even farther than the TV.

Do they even have a drop once they are out of fuel? Never noticed.

dunno why but I cant be bothered reading to see if this was posted...

I zoom in, pop up, fire, drop down, and guide the fired missile to the red name showing through the brick wall til clink! ... at least then ur already reloading for a 2nd shot compared to pistol out

You mean AT 'blind' fire? or 'fire and forget'?

Anyway! - I prefer being certain that my AT rocket's gonna hit before I load another one. After all- it takes THAT much time to reload a rocket, it's always best to use them wisely. After all- you only have about... 5 of them I think?

However, I never knew that you don't have to use the rocket-launcher's scope to guide it though... might try it one day, but I'm not convinced it's true :P.
