Auto-Forgive add-on?

Hey, I was thinking, for the few of us who'd rather forgive than punish... Why not somone program a small exe that just sets BF2 to auto forgive? Or maybe a tweak in the settings. That would be really useful. You could even secretly intall it in your friends rigs :P

Server side option has a check box for "Auto-punish"

Oh right... forgot that... But again not all servers apply that, and a personal tweak for each player (who want it) would be more useful

Ahh I think that the person should decied cause I am a forgiver but if it was like really on purpose then I punish.

erm correct me if im wrong but a tk earns you -2 no matter what, but if you get punished its a further -2 making -4 in total. The option to punish is turned off in our server so I'm not 100% on this but i think I'm right

I think I might be mistaken, but any third party application that modifies the game interface might be considered a hack.. but again I could be wrong.

I want an app. that causes a giant hand to smack up against the screen (simulating a smack to the head), and cause the screen to blur for 10 seconds whenever I choose punish or auto-punish.

But I don't use auto-punish either. Pretty rude to me.

tk earns you negative four pts no matter what, punish forgive only matters in getting auto kicked or not.

There is no purpose to have a punishing feature in BF2, or any other game. It just causes tension or resentment between players that is completely unneeded.

As already said....The punish does not affect score...its still -4. Whats more annoying is....if you accidently TK someone but injure them just prior to the TK you get -6 (due to the extra -2 for team damage). This doesn't happen all the time tho, seems a little random

If you do nothing, you will not punish, but forgive.

yupyup sometimes it makes me go on a tk spree and kill the **** that punished me over and over

I thought punishing does matter... I mean in points, I though that if you punish someone he gets a full reduction of points (-4 or -6) and forgiving gives him only a -2.
If so I guess this thread is a bit useless :hmm:
