Everytime i try to install battlefield2 it does so with no problems until it reaches the section to setup your mic. I have my mic correctly configured with my system yet bf2 battlecommo doesnt recognise it. And when i give up talking to myself trying to get some feedback from the battlecommo and "save settings" it displays a windows error message (Send error - Dont send). Whether i pointlessly send the microsoft error message or not it takes me through to the installation of gamespy and finishes with no problems at all. From that point onwards and can install new patches and continue gameplay fine but cant use the chat system.
I have recently formatted and installed a fresh windows xP home ed and updated all windows updates and hardware drivers. Cant seem to get around this one guyz/gurlz. Pleeaaasee pleeeasse help me out, we all no how valuable the chat system is when working within squads or commanding...
