2 unlocks for promotion

Dumb question (tried to search, but couldn't find this answer), I am getting close to my First Sergeant promotion, and was wondering if I will get two weapon unlocks because I will be technically getting Master Sergeant as well?? (I already have the all the basic combat badges for 1st Sergeant)

no

you get 2 unlocks only if your character has played the special forces expansion.

the Special Forces expansion will not only give you two unlocks per rank up but also the missing ones you've not gotten up till this point. So you'd get a few bad boys in one go.

I like the maps and the tools better on SF, not to mention the lack of jets is refreshing.

Thanks for the feedback, I have SF already and got a wack of unlocks.

Hmmmmm, I've got some deciding to do if I will only get one. Maybe the final unlock on anti-armour as I play that kit a fair bit.

By the way, you aren't progressing two ranks. You never actually become a Master Sergeant, and in terms of eligibility for the commander position, First Sergeant does not gain any advantage over Master Sergeants.

nope - you just need to join a server and spawn.
