    building a comp

    Ok i have been looking around at new comps and have decided to build my own can you guys take a look at the stuff make sure it is the corect stuff before i get it

    i am not sure if the processor will fit the motherboard and if the ram is the one i need. And will i need anything else i have got a p4 2.66 ghz at the moment will i need anything else like cables or stuff.
    Cheers guys please help before i blow all my cash on wrong stuff. Should of said am using old case and hard drive.

    Seems ok, some parts are a bit pricey by about 30% or so, but I'm not in the UK so I don't know if the prices are fair or not for the region.

      Everything is compatible, except the motherboard you chose, it doesnt have a pcie slot, the video card you have chosen requires a pcie slot.

      MAy I ask one question what is your budget, I could quite possibly help you build an ever nicer system.

        Thanks for that would have wasted my money. I am looking to spend about 400 to 500 gbp. Allready have case, 550x psu, 25o gig hard drive.

        ok have been looking on uk ebay for processor will i need a 939 or a 940 for the motherboard that you said. And will this ram be ok
