    Check this http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?...50819439645804 remind anyone of BF2? Especially when the guy says, "i can't believe that guy's not dead!!" after shooting at him and lobbing a coupe of grenades in his direction:)

      Oldie but goodie. Go to www.militaryvideos.net and you can seea vid of those same guys ambushing some insurgents. Freaking hardcore. Not all Canadians are pansies

                hey this mite be leading off topic, but why does the guy around the middle of the video (1:23) hit the magazine on his helmet b4 loading it into his gun.

                ive seen this in saving private ryan and i didnt kno why

                    To make sure the spring at the bottom of the magazine is free and pushing against the last round. It also helps to tap out sand that might have been accumulating at the top of the magazine when it was in storage in a pouch.
                    The overall aim is to make sure the action between the weapon and the magazine isnt hampered in any way.
                    I know we did the same when I served in the army and were on operations out in the field during the first Gulf War :)

                        My buddy is a Scout Sniper for the USMC and I showed him that video and he said he did some of that in training. He said they are prairie dogs.

                            ... what I'm wondering is if they're hauling a video camera into a war-zone why can't they at least bring one that can produce a halfway decent picture? It seems like 90% of the military videos look like they were recorded from a really cheap web-cam.

                            Oh well ... maybe it's better we can't see those poor prairie dogs flying around in pieces.
