im tryin to unistall bf2 and this wont go away, i even restarted the comp. and its still there. and im tryin to reinstaal the game now but now when i put in the install cd to install it goes to the prepare to install screen for a second the nothing happens. nw i ccant reinstall the game, what gives!!!!!

Stop making so many threads..

Click remove.. do nothing else. It will take you through a process of removing the program. You do not need your CD.

Once it is removed THEN you can put your CD in and being installation..

how to remove entries from the add/remove program list:

on another note, you may have to search your registry and manually remove all references to bf2.

Go to ontrol Panel > System, > Advanced > Performance area > Settings button Visual Effects tab "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the Desktop"

btw try unistalling BF2 in safe mode

You still have your servers config, favorites and account still saved. Go To My Documents and you will see a folder named "Battlefield 2" try deleting that and if that dont work go to the registry and delete.
