ok so i am tryin to uninstall all bf2 stuff off my comp. and when i insert the install cd into the drive, it prepares to install but nothing happens. no install screen or any thing....what he hell is goin on with bf2?

Why are you putting in the bf2 install disk if you're trying to remove bf2? Why not just uninstall it through control panel > add/remove programs?

You need to first uninstall the game before you can reinstall..

Go to your Control aPanel, Add/Remove Programs, and remove BF2.

THEN you can reinstall.

Try this. I had the same issue with SF. This is a link to manually uninstall BF2.

goto the start menu and then goto your my computer and then you can access the install screen.

Try unstall, then reboot. Then insert the disc. If it doesn't automatically play the cd then just go to My Computer and you'll see the BF2 cd in your D drive or whatever. Double clickity click.
