what is goin on here!!!!!!

ok so when i clk bf2 online icon to play bf2 it goes o the signon screen no problem, but the problem is when it is logging on and loading after a minute or so everything just goes blank for a second and it goes back the the desktop screen. how do i fix this problm?

Delete the BF2 Play Online icon, and just load up with the normal Battlefield 2 icon. see if that works if not re-install the patch.
