shot through a scope....

i was on a karkand server with my amigo the other day...and we tried to see if i cud shoot him through his scope like in the movie "sving private ryan" it didnt work so well on kakand because of the fog but in the Dalian plant server right in his scope and i killed him.....

Probably because the scope isn't a seperate piece of equipment and bf2 engine sees it as a head shot. Mythbusters disproved it....doesn't mean it couldn't happen IRL.

Mythbusters didnt disprove sh*t.. Gysgt Hathcock made that shot during the Vietnam war.. Im guessing whoever wrote the screenplay had read his biography and had taken it from the book..

Little FYI

The saving private Ryan Sniper Rifle was a 1903 Springfield with a M85 scope. The German sniper rifle was a K98K with some kind of Gerard Scope.

So how did the Mythbusters test this? Did they use the same rifles from the SPR movie and place a dummy on the other side to see the ballistics? Just wondering...
