Has there been a fix found for this yet?

Sorry about this but I was wondering what I could do about this.

After I open BF2 and then close it (proper or not), it will not open again and leave me depressed with an error message about 1 minute after i double click the shortcut.

Is there a thread about this? Sorry but I didn't know what to really search for so if you've stumbled a thread pertaining to the same problem. Could you please direct me there. Thank you.

Does the message say somthing about shades and modules? If so you gotta re-install and patch all the patches FULL not incrementiall, then it should work. This happend to me alot and is still doing it to SF.

No it's a pretty general error message saying it had to shut down due to some internal error or something along those lines.

bump? i wouldn't really call this a CTD issue... more of a "f**k you, you're not playing again." kinda issue.
