    Memory?!?

    hi (i have some questions)
since ive installed the latest patches(1.4/1.41) ive notice that after playing for a while(maybe for 1hr...sometime it happen before) the game become jerky and im hearing my HD rocking
so i ctrl-alt-delete to see if there was another application who was running..
normally BF2 use 750mb memory but this time it was at almost 1gb..that result in jerkiness and lag (and if i set the priority to another level can this be good?! (...just curious)

wtf is that...anyone else have notice or have this prob?(ill try to reinstall..but is there anything i can try before that) and if i wanna keep my profile(control setting/video setting) which folder i need to keep?
    renderer.drawfps1 and theres 2 numbers(example 50/20) whats the 20 means?
p4/1.5Gb DDR400/BFG 6800Ultra OC/crappy onboard SoundMax and my CPU is clean..i mean defrag and up-to-date

    Thx guys :p

    Re: Memory?!?

I dont think its the game that is causing this. Just about any computer decreases in 'speed' the longer its on for. How old is your PC? And when you uninstall the game if it asks you to delete profile click yes. Dont worry, your account doesnt disappear you can retrieve it where you log on to account server

Thats strange that it would take up that much.
Do you know how much ram you have?

        Nadokings 1.5 Gb
was playing like 2 min ago...same damn bs happen
was choppy as hell so i exit the game(ctrl+alt+del) 980Mb for BF2..
i stay idle for 2-3 min to see whats going to happen
the game go back to normal(almost) so ive took a look again 887Mb this time
now it begins to really piss me off ;/
ill try some other drivers(was using the 92.91)

                Re: Memory?!?

here's my suggestion which probably wont be right

but i recommend downloading tunexp 1.5
and then go here; http://gear.ign.com/articles/626/626714p5.html and follow that guide

the thing in tunexp which i tink mite help u is "disabling paging executive" which gives a higher pirority to ur RAM cuz it sounds like ur computer keeps dishing the memory to ur pagefile which is alot slower.

its worht a shot and shouldnt be harmful in any way (im using it right now) but yeah..idk

                    Kridian: sata
Consciptvirus: thx for sure ill take a look
ashman: no ...and whit my spec and not suppose to have this cheap lag
is battle sometimes i hit 20FPS... i cant almost say that i have better performance in Oblivion :O
EDIT: done whit tuneXP Conscriptvirus so ive choose the one they suggest in the guide and close the program and they say 'remember to boot to apply ...' those setting are gonna be applied and saved next time i boot or i have to re-open it each time and set them again?
