if you can master this gun your pretty well off, but then again it takes a while to master and to kno when/where to use its adv. vs disadvantages

i used to hate the g3 sooooo much, then i started using it again and wow, crouch, fire 3 shots, enemies dead, repeat.

but yeh you need to use this thing on single shot, only use full auto if they are like 2m away. otherwise it has a spred worse then a shotgun.

Almost, the AK-47 is actually slightly better :) . But unfortunately that's not on any city map.

I love the G3 though, but I am not into unlocks to much lately.

I hate G3, just the sound of it in-game makes me go like "bobo n00bgun"!

I prefer using default weapons in bf2, not unlocks.

I call it a noobs best friend I picked it up and i just started droping enemys left and right but it seems to only be good on urban maps other then that the g36c or g36e would be your best pick

I used to play assault all the time (i've spent more than a day of my life just firing a grenade launcher) so I went through phases with all the assault rifles. For a long time the clip size left me to ignore it, but when I actually got round to giving it a chance I realised it was a killer, especially in close quarter street fighting. On the larger, more open levels I prefer the AK or M16, but close up this baby is the hand of god.
