I need help, urgently

Oh great, I get a good computer and think, Oh! battlfefield 2 would work great on this.. but no. When I go to create my account, I click create account after filling out the details, and it says somthing is wrong with my "socket".. this is really annoying, as I can't get into the online game without an account, and I can't get one!

Help please.

search function is so incredible it saves me ALOT.

BUT the socket error is common, and its a connection problem.
this has been solved before so just search it sorry =(

Instead of instructing people to search use your experience on the forum to give them a helpful thread.
