Probably not because how can they prove that you lost it. I bet lots of people lose their CD key.

if you registered online with EA it should have it saved,

If you uninstalled bf2. You MIGHT be able to retrive it from your systems registry I know you could with BF42 and BF:v but I don't know if EA/Dice used the registrie's to store the CD keys in BF2.
