You all were some much help with the earning badges thing maybe this can help me again. I need some help determining why I haven't received a ribbon when I have met all the qualifications as per BF and BF2S. This ribbon is the north american service ribbon I have everything checked and still no ribbon, this is also the case for one of my buddies except it is the Far East Middle East, and Airborne ribbon. I saw it with my own eyes his time in a parachute exceeded the qualifying time. Any help or comments will greatly be appreciated.

I'm gonna assume for a moment that http://bf2s.com/player/76269376/ is you.
It shows that you have the global requirements for the NA Service Ribbon, but it also shows that there MAY be IAR requirements for that also. I honestly don't remember when I got that one, so I won't be much help to you.
You and your friend may simply need to play another round or two and they'll show up. It happens that way sometimes.Comment

NA service ribbon requires 25 hours on Armored Fury maps. BF2s doesn't make this clear at all.Comment

Ok it doesn't say. Is it different from 25h in USMC theatre. I looked at my hours and I only have aout 6h but I do have 25h in USMC theatre.
What about middle east service and far east service do they also have to have 25h all together on these maps it doesn't specify?Comment

the Middle East and Far East service ribbons are quite a mystery i believe even to this day. some point along the line tho, your bud will pick them up in the background. just one day he'll check his stats and voila! they will be there. i've seen a lot of theories but no definitive information on these as of yet. most people still speculate it's simply time related to the relevant theatre. so the more he plays those maps the more he'll increase his odds of getting them sooner most likely.Comment

if he has the time required then make a point of trying to get them. Got mine no probs. try during the week and not the weekend as servers take ages to update over the weekend.Comment

Hi All,
Same problem here, I have played all maps including BF2:SF, Armored Fury and Euro Force maps. Still no Middle East or Far East service ribbons
After checking different websites on qualifications for each award, the majority of people think you just need 1 second playing time on each map to qualify. My stats are updating, so I don't think that is the problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!Comment
