This is a true story from last night on Wake.
I was on Chinese team, doing my job to protect the upper right side of the map.
Half the round later, the airfield and all the left flags were captured and very soon, the air was filled with enemies, raining death over us. We had no air support. Tough luck!
I spawned at North Base and I was killed immediately by high caliber bullets. Hmm! Strange, the bullets were coming from the air, but there were no choppers in the area.
So I spawned there again, I got some cover behind a tree and soon I discovered it was a F35! The pilot was hovering well outside of SAM range. Since the air was J10 free, he was shooting his cannons at will, spawn killing us like there was no tomorrow.
He is the first pilot I see doing something like this.
So what could I do?! Let’s kill it! The jet was barely visible, but I aimed and shot at him with my AT, like I always do against choppers.
The shot was unsuccessful; it was hard to guide a rocket at such great distances with a moving target.
The pilot was shooting back in my direction, blindly, but my tree was harder than a concrete wall and I was relatively safe.
My second missile came out and I was more careful, but the jet was so small and very difficult to point at.
4 or 5 seconds later, I got the kill. Sweet!! It was the best and the most satisfying shot I had in a while.
Death to spawn campers!
