Squad leader question

This may seem a little stupid but I have searched and I am unable to find the answer. If you are playing as squad leader and you use the button you have set to be able to talk over a headset to your squad, what button do you use to relay messages to the commander of the entire team? I was told by someone that the same key is used and the commander will hear what the squad leaders are saying to his squad and the commander?

B to talk to squad members.
V to talk to the commander.

You can goto your options on the main log in page when your in your account and change it to any button you want
