KILLMESSAGE_WEAPON_gbrif_l96a1 -- Problems

Okay so,

For the last day whenever someone kills another person with the L96A1 rifle instead of displaying just that in brackets between the names it says [KILLMESSAGE_WEAPON_gbrif_l96a1], along with saying SERVERINFO_novehic for the no vehicle option in the server browser.

This seemed to happen after I installed special forces again, any ideas as to how to fix it without reinstalling everything?

Sounds like your localization file is messed up...you can try and open your localization file and edit yourself using notepad and ctrl+f to find that verbage and change it to your liking/normal.

x:\program files\ea games\battlefield 2\mods\bf2\localization\english

yup, malformed lines in a localisation file can cause that.

Yes, whatever else might be wrong, you definitely need to repatch after installing SF.

Just reinstal the patch, and you will be all right !
