Can anyone tell me if they have any success with this weapon? I find the aiming much harder than the SRAW, and if I am on a side that has it, I will not play AT.

Re: Advantages of using the RPG 7?
Benefits:
-No "lock on"
-Fire and forget which means you can pop out of a corner and hit a tank or whatever and go back into hiding to get off a 2nd or 3rd shot
-Slightly faster reload (feels like it anyway)
Negatives
-aiming take a bit of getting used to but once you do, it's DEADLY
That's about it, once you get the aiming down the rpg is very deadly, just lead your target and aim higher than normal (if your target is at range) and you should be killing armor/people in no time .

Technically no. If the target moves you're not guaranteed a hit, that would require a lock on of sorts (think maverick type missles). With the rpg it's an unguided dumbfire rocket errrr grenade so in one aspect you're right in that you can fire it and find cover and the trajectory won't change unlike the sraw type AT weaponry.

Re: Advantages of using the RPG 7?
I had a friend that got into playing BF2 a bit back, but we all played SF at the time, so it was pretty much all he played too.
When one day I noticed he didn't ever guide his SRAW/Eryx. I finally asked him why and he was astonished that you even could guide them! Turns out his interaction was primarily with the RPG-7. LOL
He's a mean bastard with AT now, he can lead appropriately like no tomorrow. The RPG-7 taught him to predict so well, it's rare he changes much of the course for his SRAW/Eryx use either now, despite him now being aware of such.
