Prmm Ctd

Hey guys,

Whenever I load a map in PR, as soon as I hit join game it crashes to desktop. Sometimes it does it while it's loading. I played it after I dl'ed it a month ago and it worked fine. Today it started crashing. I dl'ed the patch and installed it and same problem. Any ideas?

Is this only PR. or does the game crash under the same circumstances in regular BF2?

If it happens on both occasions, reinstall both.

It it only happens in PR, reinstall PR.

Yeah on a lot of of PRM maps it crashes to desktop but it should be fixed in the next patch(PRM)

Yeah it's only PRMM, the other games are fine. Thanks for the replies, I'll try uninstalling and reloading.

why do the textures matter, just out of curiosity, is it like an anti-hacking type thing, becuase you can see people with low setting is bushes or sumthing!!??

no i believe that its just part of how the maps were made, poe2 had a similar problem on guardian i believe? i cant remember the name of the map anymore >_>

any way you had to have your textures on medium or higher for it to work.

Yeah 1 map in PR .407 (EJOD Desert) had a problem in which anyone with Terrain on Low would CTD. Should be fixed for next patch.

this happened to me at first, i reinstalled, restarted comp, and was fine

god i hate that ****ing sand cloud lol

I installed PR mod but where are the servers which run it?

there are ALWAYS active servers for PR, if you dont see them something is wrong, go to www.realitymod.com forums for help.... make sure to give detailed description of problem as well as your computer specs.

Check your filters.

I haven't experience a single CTD with PRMM 0.4

You want to have same mod and same version filters on and no other's.

sortof relatedin that it results in a ctd, but when i tried playing the karkand at night map, i get like some missing shader error. and this only happens in that map, i can play the other maps fine
