hey i was thinking of getting a 32inch LCD tv/monitor to use for my computor.. the contrast is 1600:1 and the refresh is 8ms..anyone know if this will work ok

i have a 7900gtx oc..
the ones i have been looking at have a place for pc hook-up so i dont think ill need the s-cableComment

Manufacturers' contrast and response time specs are almost useless in deciding whether an LCD will be acceptable for gaming. There are multiple ways of measuring response and several different LCD technologies which can't easily be compared with one another. You really need to check gaming reviews of the monitor and/or test it yourself before buying or at least make sure you can return it easily if you don't like it. I would certainly hope that something as expensive as a 32 inch LCD would be acceptable though.Comment
