        missile dodgeability/evasiveness/shielding
bingo, I was hoping to see some stats on that too.

        still, excellent work.

Don't hold your breath, charting jets capabilities is one thing, 'missile evasiveness' is another.
It's because it depends on more than the jet itself: missiles characteristics, lag and most importantly, the skill of the pilot.
You can't chart skill as a jet ability, can you?!
These charts are good for showing what can be done with one jet or the other, true for any pilot (if the pilot passed the trees test, that is).
Sure, it's easier to dodge missiles in some jets. But how you put this in numbers?
If one does it somehow, the charts would reflect his personal missile evasiveness, rather than a jet characteristic that apply to any pilot. That's because some pilots have personal preferences and are favoring one jet over another.
This is my opinion, anyway, but I'm not an expert, so take it with a grain of salt. :)

I think its pretty easy, #s in terms of percentage out of 10 missile shots in full pitch upwards/downwards/horizontal from a certain distance away. It would probably end up:

              F35 100%
              F18 30%
              J10 10%
              Mig 60%

For some reason if i fly the MiG-29 on gulf of oman i always get killed but, on Kubra Dam i am so good with it. I think the jets are differnet for everymap if it isnt that is werid.

                  LOL.. Youre a party pooper.

I was actually thinking about adding every bit on information to the chart, from ammo count to the "estimated" information, like the damn "Missile deflection system (by DICE(TM))". However, to be honest, I havent played patch 1.4, 1.41 and I may be behind. From what I remember playing in 1.3, that sh!t felt so horrible that I figured DICE was going to change it anyway. So I just stuck with the stuff I could measure and type up with no worries that DICE is going to miracle-patch that up. And finally, its not going to be anything new.

And, you cant chart a bug, a glitch, a fvckup of DICE (C).

12oclock, Dairuka was waiting for the release of these charts so his enthusiasm I can only take as compliments.

Personally, a lot of what I found out I was already using in game, 2 most notable and interesting, and useful things to note are-

F35B turn radius at 80% throttle and F18 accel/deccel rate.

                  PS! Edit.

Anyone ever wondered why a jet can take up to 80% damage from one missile? Thats because a missile has a substantial splash damage and it hits the back/top of the jet, giving you a full load of the damage. So if theres one single missile behind you, level the jet up and let it hit for 50, rather than risk a full 80%. Thats a free tip on the topic of "shielding". :P

Great thorough job Chris, even though I'm no flyer.

                    No noobability stats? Shame...

You are a god among mere mortals Chris. The charts are proof.

I'm kind of curious to know why 12oclock is following me around though. I feel like a celebrity, to have an internet hater who'll follow me through the depths of the PHP forum world.
