connection problem while in the jet

dunno if this should be in BF2 support but anyways....

when I lock on to another jet and fire my missiles I get a connection problem, I dont get this all the time but it happens often and most of the time I end up dead, it comes and goes away in maybe 5-10 seconds, enough time to slow me down and make me crash, its weird


this new patch is bleeping weird, my tv missiles cant hit **** either, anyone else noticed this, I updated my PB and it didnt solve the connection problem issue

wired, I have DSL and I use a modem

Hmm.... maybe you have some program open that does it. I really don't know hey you gotta remember you are playing BF2.

It sucks but I guess you have to get over it or get a better ISP.

My guess is that you have a router inbetween your computer and the modem. Reset the modem (little black inset button). I have a linksys that will freak out about once a month and do the same thing. Just needs a good old fashioned reset. If not the router, it's probably your modem. Sounds like some hardware is resetting itself.

iv had similar problems only its when im in a jet [period] ill get in a jet and be flying just taking off when i get connectiong problem or lag and crash...

right click on ur connection icon in the task bar and click repair...... it should refhesh all your settings and clear it out!
might help...... you should really invest in a cable internet connection!
im running 8meg down comcast cable andwell.......

Jets are the fastest moving vehicle in the game, packet lose could be a problem when you're trying to down data like that. I get the same problem sometimes and only in jets.
