Getting new rank while in server?

Like the title says, is it possible to get your new rank while still pwning in a server? Because it seems that half my badges/ribbons/rank are never awarded when I'm still in the server. It's much funner when your pwning n00bs and something new pops up!

All of my ranks were earned in game.....

yes its possible. if your playing long enough and your stats update you can rank up without having to log out and log back in.

No, I don't think it is possible. You will not rank up until either A you log back in, or B you get it in server.

Well most of the the ribbons are and I think all the badges are ingame awards not sure about the medals otherwise you should get ranked in game

Wouldn't know, I rarely ever read what people are saying in game. I'm too busy either fighting or being an asshat.

The only thing I have a hard time getting in game after being in a server for a while is ranks, badges I get all the time no problem. When I'm close enough to get a rank I usually have to log out of a server after hitting the points goal and once I log into another server I usually get my rankup for my first point.
