Last time I saw BHD it made me load up PRM and play it. It was awsome.
But the war movies I love the most are russian ones about hte chechen war and ww2. Those movies have such a special feel to it.

Wow. I'm gonna voice my opinion... thats all it is.

I can't see how watching a "war" movie gets you in the mood to go play a "game." That's kind of sick. Most of the movies mentioned in this thread are based on real events... they didn't get to yell out n00b and then restart. Kind of twisted if you think about it.

On another note, all of the movies mentioned in here are good movies with alot of historical significance.

i see your point....but i think calling it "sick" is a little harsh

before any fps came along...when i was a young boy...i used to play "wars" after school with my mates and my toy tommy gun was not to be messed with ! (i killed countless enemy soldiers,zombies,aliens and indians...i know the last one is politically incorrect in present times but i'm talking 1970's)

we watched movies with john wayne in them...he went to war with everyone....'cept aliens and zombies

my first round of an online fps i got killed 15 times before firing a shot and quickly wanted my super accurate toy tommy gun back

i've always liked war movies....and always respected war vets (not the animal doctors :|: }
i'm an australian and ANZAC day (our war remembrance day) is a solemn day for me and many other australians

todays movies portray much more realism and confrontational truth but there is still a hero in EVERY war movie.
sometimes after watching a war movie i want to play bf2 and be a hero....other times i just want to run around in a squad supporting the whole team

i think the sick people are the ones who, watch movies/play fps, then take it to the next level and go "real life postal"

Hmm.. Saving Private Ryan Is the best war movie of all time. But BHD is awsome. And Pearl Harbor Dogfight in the end makes me wanna handle in Wake Island. lol.
