Laptop and patches

Hi

My laptop runs BF2 pretty well at the moment (specs below), however I've still to add any patches onto the game. Just wanted to know if there's anyone out there playing on laptops, who have had problems when adding the patches? should I risk 1.41 which sounds like it's causing a world of problems for alot of people?

its best to download the new patch if u want to play on ranked servers which bf2 is mostly about. the patches usually make the game worse, but it also fixes a bunch of stuff. i dont see anymore dolphin diving...if u have SF, u get nice unlocks like the l96a1, u can see the UAV flying which looks cool...blackhawk minigun isnt too powerful anymore...so yeah

I have a sager laptop and have no issues with the new patch

I've been running BF2 on a laptop since it was released and never had a major problem with any patch.

Dell Inspiron 9200
Pentium M 2 GHz
128MB Mobile Radeon 9700
2GB PC2100 RAM (originally 768MB)
