CQC Aiming

I was wondering, if you get up close and personal in a firefight (within 5-10 meters), do you tend to use the iron sights/scope? Or just the crosshairs?

I recently switched to using just the crosshairs when I'm close to people, I used to use the ironsights at close range and I believe that's why I wasn't hitting anyone.

Your thoughts?

Most of the time, cross-airs. And SOMETIMES iron sight.

Yes, I believe this is the best way to kill someone at close range. Unless you're trying to make a shot to the head.

Don't get caught or you will risk loosing all your hard earned stats.
If you have cheated to get them this far then you shouldn't be playing.

Against close range, usually never use iron sight unless they do not see you, and you can just aim a few easy shots.
Two ways to kill close range people, one is to run circles around em while shooting rapidly, the other is to go prone immediately, but if prone and they are prone, consider using the sight.

I find running circles best when you are against lower ranks, because they are not used to a quick close ranged moving target.
However against the pro's if you have quick reaction, lie down first while shooting, or consider running if its a very high rank ;p

If you go prone in CQC, you lose. I don't care how good you are.

Hmm, best if unzoomed, because if they run past you, it's just THAT much harder to shoot them.

You don't know how many times I've come up against enemies who do the 'jump over you' thing and kill you from behind.

Deviation and Recoil are non-factors in CQC. In this situation, the person who strafes the most, and has the best aim will win the fight... barely.

Unless of course you're up against some serious newbie who just goes prone on you. Then you can run past them, turn around and pluck em' in the head. Then when they're finished cursing your name, you can continue to kill them over and over again as they begin to gun for you after such a humiliating death.

Aim for the feet, if said person has a rank of G.Sgt or more then they'll dive right to the ground as soon as they see you. You'll get a headshot quite easily, unless they're using the G36E which is the ultimate "drop and pop" weapon.
Try not to build up that deviation too much by spraying and wait for the moment where they dive and get them in the head.

Try not to dive first as you make yourself an easier target as they'll get the headshot when they dive after you, the old saying goes "he who dives last in CQC wins"
