New to Game But what about the Controls?

Im sort of New to the Game and I Was Put off by the Controls On the BF1942 Multiplayer Demo.

Just wondering Are the Controls the Same or More easier? :)
Will there be any Control interputions like for eg:

You use Up arrow button for land/sea Vechiles and You want to Use the same key to use for The air plane as well?

You can set your controls in both games. 1942 and BF2.

The controls are easy, they are more or less the same as any other FPS game, so you shouldn't have a problem, i dont see why you think they are so hard!!

and if the controls was hard.

Well you use WASD for the throttle for the jet, and for the accelerator in the tank and other land vehicles, and the chopper. And you can use the mouse for everything in the game.

yes

download the demo and find out, there are a few global keys that stay the same (map, squad screen, 3d markers etc) but then there are seperate tabs for air, helo, ground, sea where you can set the same, or different controls (for axis, boost, armaments etc) if you wish.

Yes, you can use the same keys for similar functions from car to jet to helo. I just invert the Helo Y axis.

I always customized the controls in 1942, so I made them the same when I started playing BF2. The only thing you can't easily still do is assign the mouse axis they way you could with 1942.
