    Battlefield 2

I bought the game last week, played it well and stuff.

Now, recently, I tried to open up the game (by clicking bf2.exe of course) and it doesn't work, doesn't wanna open the game. I click it and nothing happens. Of course, I unstalled it/installed it but it doesn't work.

I'd love to know how to fix this problem.

    I have DirectX 9.c

and everything updated (graphic card and all these) including Patch (full) 1.41

this might sound really stupid but i had this problem one time and all i did was first scan with spybot / anti virus then i defraged the computer and it worked.

what did that guy baiter get banned for? he only had one post...

Anyway, try loading it from the start menu instead of clicking on the exe directly.

before you reinstalled, did you make sure that both the battlefield 2 folders were deleted? one in program files ea games and the other in my documents?

try it- find them before you uninstall and then hand delete them if the uninstaller doesnt get them, then reinstall/repatch. Then if that doesnt work its probably your videocard settings.
