Patch 1.41 problems

I have been playing this game a whole bunch w/ patch 1.4. I downloaded 1.41 incremental (which took an hour) and tried to install and it kicked back a message saying "This patch requires v1.3 to be installed." It already was... so I tried installing v1.3 again and it says "This patch requires v1.22 to be installed."

What gives? Should I skip the incremental since it never works and d/l the full? There goes the whole day if I need to d/l the full... it takes forever.

full, always download the full, there have been so many reported problems with the incrementals with several other patches.

yes download the Full Patch. And why a whole day only took me 1 hour 30mins on a 1mb line from StrafeRight

I always download the full of any update, incrs are ok for others but I'd rather have the full thing.

to my knowledge there was no "incremental 1.41" patch

There is only one 1.4->1.41 patch, and it is a full patch, there's no incremental.

Funny thing is, since I have patched to 1.41 I have CTD in game, more than 1.4...as a matter of fact, I didn't have ANY crashes in 1.4, stupid DICE.

To the OP, if you got a "This patch requires v1.3 to be installed" message, you didn't DL the 1.4->1.41, you DLed the 1.3->1.4.

hehe,I am glad I dont play BF2 anymore,so I didnt have to D/L 500MB large,fat,greasy,big, hotfix


Singleplayer is the way to go
