I was playing w/ lord_of_weed earlier in the 24/7 Karkand Ma server, he is a good player, but his constant 'nade spamming left him vulnerable to my mg everytime I got close to him so I ended up killing him more times than he killed me

A really funny moment was when he, & a bunch of his "groupies" (squad) were spamming nades @ every square spawn point (an effective tactic), I spawned @ hotel, came up to them @ a 90* angle, & shot down 6 of them w/ the G36E before they realized I was there

He always had a good k/d, & usually got gold

As if it matters? Blazin.Uk held the #1 for 9 consective months, back when people actually gave a crap about who was in the top 10.

Now with 2142 out, and the game having stagnated with 1.3, the number of people who give a screw dwindled to a number you can count on your hand.

Blazin.Uk was incredible. Meh to all others.

the vast majority of officers and generals i have encountered in game have an ego that far surpasses what skill they have. that makes them miserable to play with or against. they also abuse the hell out of macros whenever they arent vehicle whoring. based on this assesment, im gonna say that "king of Bf2" isnt a prestgious title at all. it doesnt prove skill or command respect, it just proves that you have waaay too much freetime and most of that time is spent point whoring.

yeah I encountered a guy today, LongBeach something or other, anyway he's a Major and he must of cried "hacker" about 50 times in one map, me and another guy (I was in a tank and him in apc) were beatin up on him pretty bad, he called about 5 different people hackers (including me.....my first time for that LOL) he made the comment that there is no way to single shot kill him, I laughed because I was in a tank and he was infantry, he also cried when I blew his helo out of the sky with my tank, he came in low flying solo and was RIGHT in front of me, his helo was already smoking and one shot from me did him in, before he left the server he also made the statement "look at my stats, 31 deaths, I never get 31 deaths Im going to report you" OMG can you believe this guy??

I've played with Firestarter (Burza is his clan if I'm right) played with him once on Gulf of Oman he got points quick what means he stands out above all the other #10 Guys. Which mostly play Karkand Only.

Well yes he is a better player cause Volx is the nade spammer and f1 is a skill guy not the nade whore but honestly i would never even get close to being that high on the leader boards cause i only got 12k points

The thing that gets me about the "top 10 players" is the maps they play. I can respect their abilities if they play more than one map regularaly.

Another thing is, at least RD volx has a great W/L ratio, The lord of weeds is terrible.....but yeah, I just love his nade kills....the time I played with him, I was on his side, and he would go to this one spot each time when on USMC, and throw nades....until that point was either capped, or he died, then he would run back there, and throw nades....

Yeah, I dont think volx has played seriously for awhile, it was only a matter of time before someone caught him,..

actually i remember reading that he is playing under a new name now. there was a thread on it over at bf2s.

Everyone gets tired of playing after a while. Volx has had the top spot for a number of weeks, but before that, the race was between Blazin.uk and {TA}Firestorm. But Blazin aparantly slowed down his playing big time, and Firestorm took the lead. Then he took a break and some japanese robot named Volx took #1. But Volx'll get bored of playing and some other robot of a player will take #1.

If I played as much as most of these guys, I'd be a top50 player too.
