How to kill and not be killed for newbies

If your trying to limit getting killed then I would suggest using cover, you have an EXTREME advantage over the typical player who only runs into the open then drops prone for a short firefight and is screwd when reloading.
You on the other hand can duck chuck a nade over ur cover reaload and keep shooting or duck and heal.

sprint when you move between covers and use smoke (throw it as close to them as possible the closer it to them is the less they can see) to get aroung their flanks I know it sound like im trying to be cool but it really works if they cant see ANYTHING then they cant see you run aroung their cover, or use it to get around a general advance like on karkand when usmc forces run into the small fenced area to the right acroos the street then into the other small square area with the fence on one side, toss a smoke nade into the second area then go around the right street corner and take an alley way into their left flank, its awsome owning 4-5 guy and they dont even know your there...in that situation, get some kinfe kills or pistol headshots.

smoke nades are also good for masking a retreat. throw at your feet, move back and watch them pile into the area. then start shooting just adding this because smoke nades can also be used defensively.

Yeah true pretty good for getting away from a tank when your behind a cover so small that moving 1cm means death.
and rushing the player that ACTUALLY get on the machine guns.

An another tip id like to add for newbies is not just how to use a support gun but what you can do with it.
Have you ever noticed how effective the mounted machine guns are find an elevated position(it doesnt have to be a skyscraper) or a position with a good field of view, go prone for more accuracy and fire in 2 or 3 round burst with a small amount of time between each burst(half a second to 3/4 of a second) so that your not going fully automatic but you get the same effect of full auto without the inaccuracy this is GREAT for defending because when you practice its like having another mounted MG nest also you may think this wont work but its tried and true SUPPRESIVE FIRE if an enemy gets behind his cover pinn him down keep firing but since your trying to keep him behind his cover rather than killing him(even though you should aim for the little bit of his body that you can see,if you see it) increase your rate of fire to 3-4 with a small fraction of a second between each burst(half second to 3/4 of a second again) if you can keep him down for long enough you could easily stop him from getting up and killing you or a buddy.

        Your worst enemies are...
        grenade launchers.
a bullet will only effect what it hits which means you need to be a good shot, a 203 takes some skill but since they are under fire they will be a little less accurate as they only have a second to pop up from cover but the grenade launcher effects an ARES which means its forgiving in accuracy and you can be owned.

Snipers:its simple, you are a still target, you dont even know they are there and itll be a headshot most likely.

anti tank: it take what 10 minuted to be a good shot with the guided anti tank rockets and hey can get you from range and like the 203 it damages a area which mean just pop up 4 a sec fire and duck because you only need to guide if its moving and your prone usually so you cant duck under anything.

Grenades: its obvious but someone out there is new the fps in general and doesnt know so ill say it.
grenades are easy to be acurate with and they damage and area BUT they can land behind you unlike the rockets leaving a larger margin for error on the part of your enemy so they have a better chance of killing you.

        TANKS,APCS, vehicles in general:
If its a tank apc aa or any thing hasrd and armored it just rolls up impervious to bullets and kills you and the tank and apc have the rockets, cannons going on sooo..yeah.

smaller vehicles are faster and can runn you over or get close and machine gun you to heck or get close jump out and pop pop pop..

supressing fire with a m49 saw(support gun) is a good idea but it also leaves lines flashing through the air for snipers to spot or maybe a sniper was already watching you and then you stop to supress and get owned.

And IMHO vehicle mounted weapons are always underutilized.

When we have the enemy approaching from one side only, I like to grab a humvee or vodnick, and park way the hell back from the battle (like 100-200M) and lay in suppression fire. Use a large rock, bush, or low wall for partial visual cover, and stay out of the open where the choppers and jets will own you.

Tons of kills, you're out of most grenade range, and even the snipers are often too far away on the other side of the battle to nail you reliably.

Once you have made a bunch of kills and they start to target you, swap seats and drive way back to your safe area for a few seconds, and then head back to the battle front from a different angle.

The side benefit is that the mounted machine gun is the best Anti-Chopper weapon in the game. Just don't fire when they are approaching you from the front, or you'll be rocketed in no time. A rear quarter approach, with a bit of a lead, and they'll be dead before they can get turned around.

^ Good advice, those mounted LMGs around the outposts are underestimated also, boy, those things really aid with control point defense.

Try sticking with the main body of your forces - you'll have people around you to preclude you from being a target to EVERY enemy who sees you, and also- you become slimmer pickings for the enemy if theres so many of your army around.

Just try to grab a slice of the glory, it can be hard sometimes when the place is seemingly full of veterans and elites now.
