Haven't got a speed record I'm going to try this evening. :)

Metellica at what settings are you playing which card. Sounds dumb but finally my 7600GT is arriving 5 days left. Settings look good in that video not that much shadow etc.

That isn't vanilla BF2.. it isn't saying get back in bounds, when you are clearly WAY out of bounds..

                  Well

I was just on Dragon and seen this old thread. So I tried with the J10. I got 5550 and then I went out of control and died...

Kinda hard to see. Its the J10. It can do anything.

I think i'm done trying that for a while. I was lucky I even got the SS

Good job Metalica on the F35. I couldn't get near that with that one

Supermario was probably playing with his own mod where he upgraded the F-35B in the .tweak files. I've done that alot.. make it so it turns on a dime (literally.. lol).. and when you press the afterburner you are already going 2000+ @ 100 ft.

but BF2 does have gravity so why does going up get faster speeds than down?

cant you spiral up to get altitude then dive?

I've heard the f-35b is the fastest in a dive.

maybe try lots of altutude+ a dive + afterburners + f-35b and see what happens.

i'd try but i dont have time, ive got finals for school.

BF2 and the real world are two VERY VERY separate things.

Made it to 4025 earlier in the F-35...didn't SS it cause it wasn't that amazing...nothing you haven't seen. Have to give it some practice.
